The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) plans to widen SR 4979 (Ballantyne Commons Parkway) along the South Carolina State Line.
There are 88 parcels affected, and the DOT has budgeted $13.3 million. As of now, right of way acquisition is anticipated to begin at the end of 2025.
