The Allen Road Widening project runs 2.3-miles from Stantonsburg Road to Dickinson Avenue. The improvement project will widen Allen Road into a four-lane divided roadway featuring a twenty-three-foot median, five-foot bike lanes on both sides, curbs, gutters, and ten-foot berms.  Right-of-way acquisition begins this year—affecting property owners along the project’s path.
