Project Overview
In this project, NCDOT will make improvements to the intersection of Richlands Highway (US 258/NC 54) and Burgaw Highway (NC 53) near Westpark Shopping Center in Jacksonville. Construction began in 2021 and ends in 2024. The Department’s intent is to ease congestion in the area by converting the current at-grade intersection to an interchange with bridges and ramps to help facilitate turning movements. The project total cost is estimated to be $47,912,000.
