The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) proposes roadway improvements to NC 16 (Providence Road South) from SR 1321 (Cuthbertson Road) to SR 3530 (Waxhaw Parkway).
There are 114 parcels affected, and the DOT has budgeted $9.6 million. As of now, right of way acquisition is anticipated to begin in January 2025, and construction is expected to begin in June 2029.
