Segment D of the Capital Boulevard North Upgrade spans from N.C. 98 Business (Durham Road) to Purnell Road/Harris Road in Wake Forest. There are 154 parcels and the DOT has budgeted $48.9 million for the project. This segment is not expected to begin right of way acquisition until 2031 or later.
